Therian.Net strives to be a network for the users by the users and was founded in July of 2002 as an alternative to WereNet. In early 2003 Therian.Net was linked with Shifters.Org to become one of the founding servers for the Crossroads IRC Network. In 2007 Therian.Net temporarily left the Crossroads IRC Network due to administrative differences, but rejoined shortly after with resolutions seemingly at hand. Late in 2010 Therian.Net parted ways with the Crossroads IRC Network to try to revive its apparent lost image as a friendly place for therians and like minded people to gather and share ideas.
